Best Practice & Research is a topical serial publication describing the integration of the results from the lastest original research articles into practical, evidence-based review articles that seek to address the key clinical issues of diagnosis, treatment and patient management. Each issue follows a problem-orientated approach which focuses on the key questions to be addressed, clearly defining what is known and not known. Management is described in practical terms so that it can be applied to the individual patient. The series is aimed at the physician either in practice or in training.
